I was walking along the street of Dundas, Toronto, when I came across Euro Serve Help.  At that time I was feeling down in my spirit, since my financial situation was very serious, which caused me to be unable to purchase any food to eat. I had been on the streets homeless for seven months then.  I was surprised when I encountered Euro Serve Help, how courteous, caring and friendly the staff were.  They welcomed me with open arms and offered me a snack bag with goodies to eat, drinks, a large blanket, and self care plastic bag with toiletry.  That day it was very cold and even though Euro Serve Help was trying to get to other homeless and poor people on the streets, the staff put me in the Logistical Mobile Unit and allowed me to sit and receive warmth for over half an hour.  Since my experience with Euro Serve Help, I have encouraged anyone who is homeless and less fortunate to seek their help and stop their vehicle because they will help. Even though I am still on the streets and use the shelter, I decided today to come down to the library to use a computer, so I can send my thanks to Euro Serve Help though their email, just to simply say many, many, many thanks for being there for me in time of need and to keep doing the good work. May Euro Serve Help stay blessed and share their blessings with others.

I just would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Euro Serve Help for approaching me by Spadina Avenue and College, Downtown Toronto,and offering me a helping hand.  That day, as I recall, I was very thankful to receive from them a snack bag with sandwiches, apples, oranges, and bananas.  Not only was this my only meal on the day of my encounter with them, they also gave me a bag with shavers, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, socks and gloves.   I keep spreading the word about the great work Euro Serve Help does with the poor, needy and less fortunate, for I am a living testimony of their help and I just want others to know of them as a helping outreach organization.  Now that I am no longer on the street, I wanted to take this time out to say “thank you” to Euro Serve Help for helping me in the lowest moments of my life.

Due to personal circumstances that forced me to end up homeless, I would like to take this moment to give my thanks and praise to Euro Serve Help for assisting me many times on the street of Toronto while being homeless.  All blessings are to Euro Serve Help staff and volunteers for giving me clothing and blankets during those cold months I spent on the street.  The staff at Euro Serve Help were very caring and friendly to me.  Now that my life has improved and my circumstances changed for the better, I am not just extending my thanks but also donating to Euro Serve Help organization on their website, so as to enable them to keep serving others.

Thank you once again, Euro Serve Help, and keep doing the good work of serving the homeless and less fortunate.

My husband deserted our family and left me with three kids, all under the age of ten.  Because of him leaving, I had no one to turn to for help and ended up poor and in need, me and the kids without any food to eat.  My best and closest friend Claire came to see me one day, and seeing what was happening to me and the kids, being without food, she told me she heard of Euro Serve Help outreach organization and helped me source the number.  I contacted them after a few days inquiring about the services they offered and was greeted by a great and caring member of staff.  Three hours after I had gotten off the phone, the doorbell rang and, to my surprise, a driver from Euro Serve Help brought me bags of food to last me for the next two weeks.  I was not only shocked and relieved but was very impressed by the way I was treated by Euro Serve Help being a helpless single mother with three kids to look after and feed.  I am very thankful to Euro Serve Help for all they have done for me and my kids, not only feeding us but also lifting our spirits.  Euro Serve Help, please keep doing what you are doing.
